Mark & Carolines Beautiful Hessian Themed Wedding at Beeston Manor

Mark and Caroline decided to use trusted Beeston Manor Wedding Photographer Tarleton Photography to document the special day.

This was my first visit to Beeston Manor as a Lancashire Wedding Photographer. I really enjoyed working at this venue, it has a certain atmosphere about it which comes from the family that run the venue.

The day started out with bridal preparations upstairs with hair and makeup. The skylights in the ceiling gave me great natural light to use creating a great warm feel to the photographs. Bridal Prep always works best with soft ambient lighting, this allows me to capture the little details and shoes without using flash and creates a much more natural lifestyle image.

The bridesmaids helped out throughout the morning with difficult tasks from drinking Prosecco and Bucks Fizz to helping the bride get ready into a beautiful wedding dress.

Later in the day after a perfect ceremony in the Oakland Suite featuring a live musician to welcome the wedding guests and play music whilst the bridesmaid, page boy and of course the bride and father walk down the aisle.

Due to the weather we only had a small window of opportunity for the lifestyle wedding portraits outside but Beeston Manor certainly does not lack in photographic opportunities inside and out!

Throughout the day before and after the wedding reception and family photographs I borrowed Mark & Caroline when the weather had eased off to create some great fantastic images using the stone feature walls and window light helped by an off camera flash set up. I also took after the first dance backlighting the couple using flash modifiers and light stands to create a very dramatic photograph.
