The fun of your wedding starts with the booking and organising of your perfect day. Graham feels this is as important a time as the big day itself. Getting to know your photographer is a big part and will ensure you enjoy the experience even more.

Here at Tarleton Photography, you will receive the very best wedding photography experience, before, during and after your big day.

Talking about your day and what your plans are always bring the venue to life and plans to life, Graham will always have some great ideas for your photographs and wedding details but will always ask and take on board your ideas. To Graham, it is more about making his photography capture what you want in his unique style.

Booking your Engagement Pre Wedding Shoot which is included in all the wedding photography packages gives you the opportunity to have your photos taken before your wedding day. It’s the ideal way to experience having your photograph taken by a professional photographer so it does not come as a shock on your day.

You can even use those images for your save the date, wedding invitations or signature boards for your present and card table. Another great idea is to have a small Pre Wedding Album made! It will give your guests a glimpse of you as the future ‘Mr & Mrs’.

This extra mile ensures all couples Graham has photographed a wedding for has said the same thing, for example:

“We were so nervous about having the photos taken but you have put us at ease and made it such a fun and delightful day. We could not thank you more!” Victoria & Will Sperrin.

Around 1 month before your big day – if Graham has not heard from you he will contact you to come to the meet at the venue and run through your wedding day with you. Timing is key to your day and Graham will be able to advise on certain things and knowing what is happening and when is crucial for your day to flow smoothly.

It makes a big difference to make sure there’s enough time for you to enjoy your wedding day and also for me to capture everything you want.

Graham is prepared and can not wait to hear about and capture your amazing day. The pandemonium with your Bridesmaids and close family during the bridal preparations at the parents house or the venue is the ideal time for Graham to capture little details like getting your makeup and hair finished, the perfume you use, your wedding shoes, jewellery and beautiful flowers.  More importantly those emotional moments of getting into your wedding dress, seeing the wedding cars pull up outside and your family seeing you in the dress for the first time. Those moments are priceless.

Graham’s experience and training as a Wedding, Press and Commercial photographer for the last 6 years has given him the very special knack of being in the right place, picking up on the little inside jokes and giving a helpful hand and smile when needed. Instinct plays a big part of a photographers role and knowing when to do something is something only experience brings.

Travelling ahead of the bride to the church Graham will meet up with the groom, best man and his ushers to make sure everything is ok (Even asking the crucial question, where are the rings?!), capture some images of them arriving and make sure everything is right before the bride arrives.

During your ceremony and your wedding breakfast, Graham’s unique style goes from being there to offer help and capture great relaxed portraits along with the necessary skills to organize large groups of people quickly and easily to blending into the background to capture you looking into each others eyes and saying your vows. Knowing your guests are emotional too, he will take a sneaky shot of them – as those are the moments you may even not know about.

Capturing the funny moments during those all important speeches all the way through to your first dance together as husband and wife are key to you really being encapsulated by your wedding photos once the day is over and bring the emotion and happy tears back again!

When the celebrating is all over, I set to work on turning your wedding day into a series of exquisite photos and making sure all your photos show a true story of the day.

Making sure that your album reflects your perfect day. I’ll go through each photo carefully and select the best images that capture you and your guests at best. Most clients are able to see their images in 3-4 weeks.

Due to my popularity in peak wedding season this may be longer as unlike some other photographers, I personally edit all of my work to ensure it has my approval and special style!

Graham loves to put some “teaser” photographs on social media giving you a little sample of what is to come, but also lets your guests see how amazing you looked.  There is nothing better than seeing a few of the professional wedding photographs to show off with especially when you wake up after your special day and enjoying your first breakfast together.

Every client will be able to see a slideshow of photos on a blog post via the website once its all over or you can come and view it with a coffee or glass of Prosecco in front of a huge TV in our studio.  Then we can go through the images together and reminisce over your day.

You will also have access to your very own web gallery – to which you can favourite your best pictures you want to be featured in the album.  And also share it with friends a family. I’ll then get started on the album design and re-create your wedding as if it was happening all over again.

When your album or bespoke USB & Print box as been delivered to the studio you can go through the emotions of the wedding day once again and browse through the beautiful photographs Graham will have captured for you.
